By car from Marseille – Vieux Port
Take the A-55 motorway at Place de la Joliette. Take the first exit (Les Arnavaux, La Cabucelle).
Keep right as you pass the flea market.
At the traffic lights, go straight ahead until the next roundabout under the overpass.
Turn left onto Avenue des Aygalades.
Continue straight for a few kilometres.
Go under the railway bridge, then follow signs for the Cité des arts de la rue.
By car from Aix-en-Provence
Take the A-7 motorway towards Marseille and then Marseille-Centre. Take the “Les Aygalades” exit.
Continue towards “Les Aygalades – Saint Joseph”
Follow signs for the Cité des arts de la rue.
Take Metro Line 2 to the end of the line (“Bougainville”), then take Bus no. 30 towards “La Savine”. Get off at the “Cité des arts de la rue” stop (formerly “Traverse du cimetière”). The entrance to the Cité is 50 metres before the stop.
From Saint-Charles train station, take the TER Marseille – Aix – Pertuis line. Get off at St Joseph le Castellas. Walk through the Cité du Castellas along Avenue du Castellas and turn right onto Chemin de St Antoine à St Joseph. Walk for around 500 metres until you reach the Pharmacie des Aygalades. Cross over to the left and walk to the end of Boulevard de la Padouane. Turn left, walk through the motorway subway and along Avenue des Aygalades for around fifty metres.
Take bus no. 30 towards La Savine. Get off at the “Cité des arts de la rue” stop (formerly “Traverse du cimetière”). The entrance to the Cité is 50 metres before the stop.
